This is my new tang leucistic from the Bell line.

while i think it will be a nice patternless with a nice little orange tail base in my opinion it is not a true tangerine patternless.... if it was the back color would be orange/yellow orange or have an orangish wash. but none the less a very nice patternless

Well just to set you straight she got that one from me and I in turn purchased them straight from Kim Bell herself! These are in fact Tangerine Leucistic from Kim Bell's stock and I have the recipt to show for it. I do not believe Kim would be miss labeling her stock! Granted that pic does not do it justice they do in fact have an orange/yellow body colloring and bright for that matter. These babies I got from her are just plain fantastic that's for darn sure. I can not load up pics but if anyone would like pics of mine just ask me personaly by e-mail. That gecko was in fact purchased by me directly from Kim Bell and is a Tangerine Leucistic. Thanks.
i know what it was sold to you as, ut what i am saying is it is a very nice little hatchling but most likely will mend up being a nice normal patternless.
this is what a tangerine patternless looks like (or as close to a tang patt as i have ever seen)

as a baby he looked like a neon yellow orange PA even tail color only difference was his eye color.
this picture was taken by kelli hammack to show comparison between a nice normal and him.

and a pic of his back

with age he seems to get darker orange and brighter orange......
he throws babies like this...

this is not her (albino) mother but she looks just like this one.... she is just a dark normal dbl het PA. this female is "the beast" and a het bell albino hehe. but you get the idea

im not saying its not a nice gecko just IMO it will just turn out to be a very nice patternless. i have contacted several breeders about patternless's and those are just really nice normal patts... the others she was selling at the time were just darker patts

just to add to the discussion...
I personally have never heard of anything called a tangerine patternless. The pic of the patternless pair, they both look a lot alike, not a huge difference in coloring. When I would think of a tangerine patternless, I would think an actual tang, with beautiful bright orange coloring. Maybe when it was said tangerine patternless it meant a tang het patternless x patternless. I mean, tang isn't genetic, it's a line breeding coloration...So their wouldn't be any guarantees that a tang is a tang until it was quite a number of months old with the coloring showing up.
if it is not genetic how does it pass from parents to offspring?
IT IS genetic, it deals with more than 1 pair of alleles, like skin color and height in humans. Just because it is not receesive, dominant, co-dom, or incomplete dome doesn't mean it isn't genetic.

when I meant not genetic, I meant you can't have "het tang" geckos
Like I stated these came directly from Kim Bell herself. She was selling these as Tangerine Leucistic. Being that it is Kim Bell and not some other breeder I really don't think kim would lie about what she sold anyone. She stated that they would have an all white head, all white tail, orange/yellow citrus body with some orange on the tail as well. The ones I held back have an all orange body and are almost 2 weeks old.
Believe what you want, but these are in fact Tangerine leucistic directly from Kim and Mark Bell themselves.
That pic was a bad pic, Amy know's it
I have paperwork to back this.
I also purchased a few of these from Kim Bell, and they were advertised, pictured, and sold as "tangerine patternless". Although they are absolutely stunning, I was disappointed in their color compared to the photo she had posted of an example of a tangerine patternless compared to a standard yellow colored patternless. Kim told me they are not any kind of tangerine/patternless crosses, but "just come out that way and develop into a kind of peachy color"... so I am hoping they will!

That is correct although I am sorry to hear of your dissapointment! I am tring to upload pics at this time but it is not happening. I am very happy with all mine they are really orange with just a bit of yellow. She did have them listed on her add as "Tangerine Leucistic" though. I will send you over a pic of one of my little ones personally. Mine keep getting better and better.
You are right, they were listed as "Tangerine Leucistic." I'd love to see what yours look like.
