Ok, This guy was wild caught in Southern New Jersey. I dont know what it is but i can provide more pics if needed. It measures about 4 1/2 inches without its tail.

Assuming it is a native critter and not some odd escaped pet, I am fairly certain it is a northern fence lizard, pretty much the only type of spiny looking lizard native to the mid-atlantic states.

It says on other websites that its range is only to Virginia. It looks to be a male that is full on little froglets.
