Settle an argument for me.

I am a self proclaimed snake nut, but ball pythons are not my area of expertise. I was having a discussion with someone and the issue of how big do ball pythons get came up. There was some serious disagreement,... So I decided to come here and get the real poop from the experts. Whatya say folks, how big does a ball python get? Thanks a bunch for yer help.
Tony.

Usually max out at 6 feet, but 5-footers are more common. Rather stocky, but not overly fat like a Blood.

In the wild it is very rare to find a BP exceed 6 feet. In captivity 6' animals are still quite rare, but there may be a few forum participants (HEY JOAN!!) that know of some.
