Well I took my little blue guy over to see my friend the furry animal vet on Saturday and he weighed him and then figured out how much panacure to worm him with. As of Wednesday morning he still had not eaten anything or pooped anywhere that I could find so I picked up some chicken vegetable dinner baby food at the grocery during lunch. Last night I mixed in a little water and some of the calcium powder that I dust his crickets with (when he eats them). I gave him about .7 ml of the mixture. I called my vet friend again and he brought some anitbiotic called chloro-something or other with him to church and I gave Little Blue his first dose this morning (in case he has a respiratory infection) and some more of the baby food mixture. He doesn't look dehydrated as his skin is not wrinkly and he doesn't look particularly skinny but he has got to be losing weight since he hasn't eaten as far a I can tell in over two weeks. An interesting thing I noticed is that when I go to catch him or if he moves quickly he sort of vibrates or shakes all over. It could be because he is weak but I'm wondering if he may have eaten a Mexican Bean beatle (house ladybug) that we have all over our house. It is possible it could have gotten into his cage. I was interested in what windyj420 had to say about her sick lizard because it sounds very much like how my female acted right before she died. She would leave her tongue sticking out also. Anyhow, I don't know what else to try. His temps are fine in his cage so if he doesn't have a respiratory infection I certainly hope he isn't impacted because I don't know that there would be anything I could do to help there. If they are impacted, how long does it take for them to get sick and die?
