well my snake finally ate. after unsuccessful tries for the past few weeks, he ate last night. i didn't get to see it but oh well. i just want to thank the guys that replied to my first question with their suggestions. i ended up using a live pinky. but for future feedings, if he doesn't take to f/t pinkies what can i do to have him eat those. i don't want to stick to live ones. well thanks again.

After a few successfull feedings on live pinks, you can try to give him a FT. If that doesnt work, then once he is up to 2 pinks, you could give him 1 live, once he has eaten that, give him a FT. You may have to tease feed him the FT. If he eats it, try this a few times until he has eaten a few FT, then try to just switch completely to FT. He may or may not make the switch. I have a hatchling prairie king that will not eat a FT at all. Only live pinks. Im sure once he gets some size to him, he will make the switch to FT.

Its a pain in the butt to buy live for him, but Im glad he is the only one!! LOL
