...My female collareds have taken the next step in their continuing evolution towards the domesticated chicken today. Hulk has been caught LAYING EGGS without displaying any signs of being gravid (the typical orange banding, etc)! Had to rush the shots, since to say this caught me a bit off guard is an understatement.

What are you feeding those girls...seed? LOL...can you tell if they are fertile?
....they firmed right up and don't have the squishy feel of the duds, but who knows. She's been in the viv with Hamlet all along, maybe he can see the stealthy far orange spectrum better than I can LOL. She DID do a bit of half-hearted scratching around near her water bowl earlier, but nothing unusual, just the typical roto-tilling of the substrate we have all come to know and love LOL.
