What would cause a beardie to up-chuck??? It looked like it was projectile vomiting (mess all over the place) It was the mealies and crix he ate yesterday. thanks.

He went to the bathroom while i was outside working. Now he looks really thin. I examined the feces. I found nothing but alittle sand in it. (i keep him on playsand). Could he just look thin cause of vomiting and pooping in the same day? He hasnt been eating normal lately either. Thanks.

make sure you rehydrate him because vomiting causes alot of fluid lose.He could have ate alot of sand with the crix and mealies. Also mealies have a high chitin level so you shouldnt feed too many. A substitute would be superworms or silk worms(the best worm to give)

Did he bask for 60-90 minutes after he ate yesterday? Basking temp of 100? He should have digested yesterdays food by now.

First, I did rehydrate him yesterday, he drank 2 mL of water. I fed him the mealies and crix around noon or alittle after the other day, so he had hours to bask. I noticed that once, afew weeks ago, he regurgitated his greens. He hasnt done that since. I am gonna make sure to keep giving him water today and maybe try alittle greens or something. Till he gets eating alittle better again. I will check into getting some differnt worms for him too.
