Hoping maybe some of the regulars will be at some of the follwing events. I'll be giving my eastern indigo snake conservation talk at the following:
April 24: NC Herp society, Asheville, NC
May 7: Kansas City Herp socitey
Aug 11 or 12 or 13 (not sure which yet): IHS in Daytona.
The IHS is at the same facility and weekend as the national breeders expo.
Anyone going to any of these??
Would be nice to meet each other. Will try to make it to Asheville. I live in NC. but on the East side of the state. So, it's about a four hour drive or so. Only thing that would stop me is if I had to work that weekend. I was told we would be busy next month to help prepare additonal Army units for deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Have you met Rick Sladdick yet? He's the only Eastern Indigo breeder that I know of in North Carolina. He also lives pretty close to my house. He's the one I got my baby Indigo from late last year (from) his second clutch of eggs. (both of Rick's clutches were late - for Indigo standards).
