i got there large rocks out of the river....they were stinky and had algea and barnacles.......i covered them in a 40%bleach/60%water solution and scrubbed them with a metal bristled brush until all algea and barnacles were off and lost its smell i then cleaned them with bleach again....now its clean and has layed in the sun for 24 hours....are they clean?

I would think if you used bleach solution twice and then dried in sun they will be fine ! Your river rocks sound neat ! I love the samll river stones, very pretty ! Post a pic of your collared, we love to see their on here ! :0) Eve

Before I put anything in my tanks I either give the rocks og wood half an hour in the oven or a couple of days in the freezer.
