JCP neonate care question

MatthiasK Mar 18, 2004 03:32 PM

Hi there!
Today our female JCP layed 9 eggs for her first time. The eggs are already transrered to the incubator. I heard different opinions regarding the neonate care. Is it really essetial to raise the babies in single boxes or can I put all together in a cage of appropriate size? Thanks!

It is better to keep them seperate. Some of the problems with cohabitation are accurate record keeping, and possibly neonate hostility/submissiveness.
