Dividing a 20 gal low in half and a leopard geck on half and a garter on other. That leaves each side 15wide by 12deep and 18high.

10 gal tanks are 20wide and garters and leos can live in a 10 gal their whole life, am I right?

Any thoughts appreciated, Thanks

Why not just give each animal an undivided tank?

Would the partition be transparent (e.g. glass)? If so, I'd imagine the gecko would get unduly stressed by being in close proximity to what it perceives as a predator.

Not a good idea. Should have separate tanks. I have had adult garters eat lizards before!
