ok, i have read through this forum hundreds of times, al i can ever find is about snakes or 1 about BTS.

i am interested in cross breeding lizards...preferably 2 different species completely not different locales. i am wondering if i'm supposed to do it the same way as you guys have said about snakes or is there a different technique??

i am very quirious and am very interested in trying to start a new project preferably one where i'm trying to cross breed something....can someone PLEASE help me and explain a few things on the lizard side of hybridizing, thanx

You treat it the same as breeding any other lizard. Hibernation, ETC. making sure the two animals you are crossing both have the smae breed paterns. (i.e. whiptails dont mix to anything). Also the lizards have to be related closely. Agamids and iguanids dont mix so don't bother. Crossing lizards is rare and often results in not so exciting off spring. A good place to start is collard lizards.
