Do you guys know what kind of snake this is? Is it dangerous or harmless?

Do you guys know what kind of snake this is? Is it dangerous or harmless?

Assuming you're in the US, that's a very lovely kingsnake, interesting band pattern. 
Hi Winged, sorry I should have provided more details. My father served in Vietnam and during his tour he was just outside of a village and almost stepped on one of these. So he took a pic of it. His pic was old and I saw it the other day when I was cleaning out the garage so I decided to go on the internet to try to find out what kind of snake it was. I went on the internet and did a search of vietnamese snakes and this snake image is just about identical to the one in my fathers picture so I'm pretty sure its the same exact type of snake but the this image didn't say what type of snake it was so I figured I would ask you guys. But it looks identical as the one shown in my dads photo so I'm guessing its the same type of snake. Even when I showed my dad the image he said yep thats definitely the same snake as the one he encountered. But I don't know what kind it was although I understand alot of the snakes in Vietnam are venomous.
a snake that looks like that in vietnam would probably be a black banded wolf snake.
Looks like a many- banded krait (Bungarus m. multicinctus) to me.
