Another fun day.....

I was able to do another educational event yesterday at the elementary school. Over 200 children spread over 4 sessions. A real blast. This time I focused on getting portrait photos of the kids with those big "first time holding a snake" grins. I attached one with this message but I have about 20 more at the link below. Enjoy.

of the future.
I wish I had a teacher like you when I was a kid!! You will need a new generation of boa addicts as you begin producing from that awesome collection of yours!
BTW...Phanta is doing great. She is just gorgeous. Plus, I have found a male for her with similar saddles.
Take care.

yes, I thought I recognized "the look" on some of their faces. They may be in trouble....or, at least, their parents are in trouble. I'm glad I got some good photos of their reactions. The next thing to get is the audio of the question & answer session. It is amazing. I started the day with the 6 year olds and worked my way up so the questions gradually got more sophisticated. There were some really good questions and observations. I spend most of the presentation getting them to come up with differences between the two animals (them and the snake) and then we discuss the implications of those differences.

Glad to hear Phanta is doing well. I miss that girl. I would love to see a photo of her future mate...do share. gray

Changing the world, one mind at a time. I would expect no less from you, Gray. Our hobby gets a little better each time any of us takes the time to show others how wonderful keeping boas, or any reptile for that matter, can be.
Most of us openly admit among ourselves that keeping boas can be highly addictive, but finding a way to share our passion with non-keepers and demonstrating how fascinating reptiles can be serves secure the future of ALL boa keepers.
Keep up the good work, and keep sharing the results.
