Which snake do you guys preffer? I mean, do kingsnakes and corn snakes act diff or anything, or is it just the names??

Now Try n Remember im speaking for myself non other.But i Do Prefer KingSnake's now im a first time owner and this is all in part due to the fact that i had a small stint working at a pet shop major chain,and they had a cali albino king who was a great snake i spent many a days just observing him and the corns that were they and from what i witnessed i feel that King's do posses a diff attitude...to me its what i like to call F U Attitude, Being a New Yorker I Dont Take Shi% Or BS from PPL so when i animal say f u this is me im already liking that creature...now he was pretty big but the boa's beneath him were bigger n they didnt ever look at me the way the cali albino king did(thats why he was up top) the corns no offense to corn keepers but they seemed just too nervous for my taste,and to me kings come in way more cooler colours! and last but by far not least...King Eat's Corn! CheckMate!i dont know of many other snakes that are somewhat immune to rattlesnake venmow, cuz they been eating em for generations!cept opiaphageus hannah (king Cobra)exc the spell, eyes were a big plus also im not a fan of the slit eyed snakes as boa n pythons have they actually frighten me, i prefer the normal pupils of these types of snakes its looks more normale to me! dispels the whole snake evil creature myth! well like i said just my opinion my advice to you is try to handle both breeds research em as much as you can think for yourself and then choose which breed u prefer hope u go with what you truly enjoi n like!Mike.ps i mean KingSnake ? the name says it all!

Honestly, get informed then YOU will be able to make the best decision that you can make for yourself........

if you get a corn, youll wish later you got the king. trust me.

i cant think of any king owners that would trade their kings for a corn... kings rule. period.

Well after having basically nothing but kings (lots of kings) for a long time, I recently just got my first corn. I must say I've really enjoyed the differences. I'm not saying their "better" it's just a nice change of pace. All snakes are great. Kings and corns just happen to make great pets.

I used to work with an amel corn and he was great for educational purposes because he was very docile and his pink and orange color attracted even people who were afraid of snakes and had never touched one before--they'd tenatively poke him, invariably say 'oh he's not slimy like I thought' and the next thing you know they're holding him and amazed at the way they feel etc...good stuff. that said, I would never trade my fl king for any corn--he has waaaay more personality than any corn I have met and he is just an awesome snake to have as a pet!
