i LOVE it! undead tortoises mauling the countryside's vegitation! no plant is safe!
i'm definitely a "dawn" fan; the original is one of my all-time favorite movies (cheesy mall music and all!), and i'm curious to see what the remake'll be like.
Woah dude... that was not the original, althought it was a classic. I'll never forget that I went to see that alone and as I was laughing out loud (along with the audience) I thought that was warped and the director was a genius.
The original is in b/w and is very disturbing.

EJ remember the classic line in the original Night of the Living Dead " Their coming to get you Barbera " I say that every night to my kids before they go to sleep just as a joke. We are big cult fans of the original eat'em up movies.

I heard Jeff spicoli bred redfoots untill they got into his stash!
the original "night of the living dead" *was* in black and white as you said. "dawn of the dead," however, was first filmed in 1978. different movies.
"when there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth."

You are oh so right.
With todays technology, I'm pretty sure I don't think I could handle the remake.

oh, i'm sure it'll be gross, and i'll have to look away at some point or another, but i love zombie movies. wish they made more of 'em! "28 days later" was a good recent one (if you consider the "infected" to be zombies, which i think they pretty much are).
*shuffles off in search of brrraaaaaiinnssssss...*
*realizes this thread is so off-topic it isn't even funny*
... that title was supposed to be "i love zombies," but with a < followed by a 3 as a heart. guess the board didn't know what to do with that.
You should read the Anita Blake vampire series by Laurel Hamilton. Start with the Guilty Pleasures, then go on to the Laughing Corpse. Good to read while the torts are in hibernation and it's too cold to build new pens!
Katrina
The review tagged the movie nicely.

"when there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth."
Nah most likely they will end up in being released into the wild or dumped off at living dead rescue centers. I encourage everyon NOT be breed living dead people. Sure it seems like fun at first but then we have tons of them around, the market bottoms out on them and the shelters and rescue organizations get filled to the brim with them. Ya can't even euthanize them cuz their dead already. Beside most folks don't even know what a responsibility it is to own a living dead person. Feeding, housing etc. The only good thing about them is no matter how badly you abuse them you can't kill them and they don't pyramid.
Unfortunately -- Mazuri doesn't make a special diet for them though so no one can argue with Ed if suggests feeding the M stuff is a good idea.
To warm the heart! Cool picture.
