youngsters below (refering to your post below). Your an asset to our hobby. By the way, is that a Suri or Guyanan that the boy is holding? Thats a very nice boa either way.
Take care,
Eric
....that girl was sold to me as a Guyanan by Kevin McCurley of NERD at the Daytona show in 2000. She is an early 2000 model and I plan on introducing a male for the first time in Spring 05. She is definitely one of my favorites and was super with the kids. gray

I KNOW HE IS A COLOMBIAN, BUT EXACTLY WHAT KIND? LOOKS KINDA ARABESQUE, BUT DIDN'T WANT TO CALL HIM THAT BEFORE ASKING. I KNOW WHAT NAME CALLING LEADS TO HERE ON THE BOA FORUM....LOL...
Hiya Bill, I believe that is the European Pastel line, which is also referred to as Square Tails...
They are MUCH different than the pastels we see here, and have nothing to do with boas that some call circlebacks, laddertails, or squaretails... which all seem to have that laddertail pattern with the squares in the middle.. They also tend to have connecting pattern..
This line has outrageous color and are seldom available, especially in the states..
Few people in the states have them, including Bill Parks and Gray here..
I'd also love to get my hands on a few.. they are a bit pricey and in demand now..
Can call me to talk about how to get some, although i'm sure Gray can offer much assistance as well.
Thanks and take care - Joe

Hey Bill,
Yes, these animals have a similar pattern to an Arabesque but there are some important differences (most of which Joe already pointed out). They are from Europe and they are called "Squaretails" but the fact that they tend to have connected tail patterns that leads to "squares" in the tail is not the most interesting or appealing aspect of these animals. They are exceptional in four ways: cleanliness of pattern, thin saddled, connected pattern, and EXTREME COLOR. I am very hopeful that the photo that I posted is leading to something. So far, all the signs are good.
GOOD LUCK WITH THAT BREEDING GRAY AND PUT ME DOWN FOR A FEW BABIES PLEASE. THE COLOR ON THAT MALE IS INCREDIBLE!
Wish you all the best for your future projekts.
