So far, besides fruit and veggies, I have seen that people feed their bearded dragons:
crickets
mealworms
superworms
pellets
pinkies
Please post what you use and why, and include storage details
Thank you!

silkworms - can be kept at room temp
butterworms - keep in the fridge for up to 3 months

Besides veggies i feed my dragon about 60% crickets 30% hissing cockroaches (which i breed myself) and 10% of whatever i find in my yard. One time i flipped over a log and found a huge amount of rolly pollies or pillbugs i just dumped them in his cage and he loved them he would lap them up with his tonge by the hundrads!

Best of Luck

Rep-Cal Juvie Pellet - this is their primary staple - room temp
Superworms - rubbermaid tubs at lizard room temp
Crickets - rubbermaid tubs at lizard room temp
Roaches - Discoid - rubbermaid tubs at lizard room temp
Waxworms - occasionally - rubbermaid tubs at lizard room temp - if you don't want them to breed keep in fridge
Pinkies - ONLY to gravid females and after they lay and even then not too many - kept in freezer
And of course salad daily

Besides greens, fruit, and veggies, I also feed:

Silkworms (store at room temp and feed daily)

Wax worms (store in the refrigerator, do not feed)

Mealworms (keep same as wax worms)

Super worms (keep at room temp in bran, crushed cereal, oatmeal or some other type of edible substrate and feed fresh veggies every other day)

Crickets (keep at room temp, feed and water daily)

Rep Cal pellets (juvenile size)

I don't feed pinkies to my beardies!

Beautiful Dragons

All of my dragons are now adults. So each is fed the same way! Here is what I do

Staple for adults is salad which includes several (4-7)ingredients from the following list each week:

Collard Greens
Dandelion Greens
Mustard Greens
Turnip Greens
Kale
Escarole
Endive
Watercress
Parsely (occasionally)
Acorn Squash
Butternut Squash
Yellow Squash
Green Squash
Green Beans
Peas
Carrots
Parsnip

*Occasionally I also add fruits (apples, strawberries, cantelope, raspberries, mango), but many of my dragons just dont seem to care for the fruits?

I usually give my dragons insects 3 times a week. Sometimes a little more sometimes a little less. But on a average 3 days a week their diet includes insects. Some of the insects I use:

Roaches - staple insect (lobsters & hissers and soon to be orange heads and orange spots as well)
Superworms
Waxworms (occasionally-for treat)
Butterworms (ocassionally-for treat)
Crickets (occasionally-for variety)
Silkworms (occasionally-for treat)

I have even tried the grasshoppers in a can I believe made by zoomed? Anyways some of the dragons liked them, others didnt. They are very large and so they must only be used with large dragons! I also do feed the dragons a pinky once in a great while. But I am probably going to stop with that since my roach colonies are getting larger and larger!

I believe that is it? I believe variety is VERY important and I do my best to make sure my dragons receive as much variety as possible while still getting all the nutrients they need to stay healthy.

Take care, LM

Collards and moist Rep Cal pellets are the most common ingredient in my greens mixture which can also feature any one or all of these below depending on my mood. I throw them all with the collards in a food processor with a course chop if I can help it. The last batch came out like pesto. I add the moist Rep Cal pellets last.

Butter Squash
Sometimes thawed frozen veges(corn, green bean, and carrots mix)
Oranges
Crushed Pineapple
Daisy Greens
Cilantro
Cactus
sometimes strawberries and or grapes

I also feed can o crickets and can o worms. I hand feed them crickets and after the greens come out of the processor, I add in mealworms just to get them to pay attention.

I feed mixed greens with soaked Rep-Cal pellets and silkworms on top every day to my 6 month old. My 1 and half year old gets mixwed greens everyday with soaked Rep-Cal pellets and silkworms on top every other day. My adult is a little stunted from being a "failure to thrive" baby and so I feed her more fat and protein than your average adult.
