muds? housing?

does anyone know how big mud turtles get?
are they easy to take care of?
what kind of housing do they need?
could i keep then in a 2/3 land and 1/3 water terrarium?
what do they eat?

First of all, I would read some caresheets on the different types of mud turtles.

With that said:

Mud turtles can get from 3-6 inches in length, depending on the species.

Easy to take care of-yes and no. If you read information about them, yes. If you don't have a clue, no.

I agree with Jeff, they are very easy to take care of as long as you know what your doing, you should look around at the different types before you make a decission, if you wanna stay small go with types like eastern muds and three-striped muds, most of the time they will stay 3-4 inches and are not shy at all. If you get adults they will eat almost anything they love snails and fish but if you are considering hatclings, they will eat moths and reptiman sticks, but you can try many different things, so make sure to check some care sheets and good luck!!!
