I can't see chicken eggs being terribly bad for a mangrove (though i wouldn't feed mine them) occasionally, but i would definately try to keep the main diet to rodents. I feed my sub-adult female a mouse every week. She's feeding live right now but i've been working on getting her on f/t.

Hey,

I know that egg eating snakes can't eat unfertilized eggs (like chicken eggs) because they lack botin. This is a deficient food source for them. However, I am not sure if mangroves would suffer the same fate if fed unfertilized eggs. I also am unaware of calcium levels in unfertilized chicken eggs.

Is there anything else it will eat?

Dave
