I have 5 leopards and my hubby is the one that is totally into them so I will have him look at the pic when he gets home and post what he thinks it may be. It does seem to have some tangerine genes in it and that is why there is the orange on the tail. But i will get hubby to look at let you know more!

To me it looks to be a close hypo with some tangerine and carrot tail. It really depends on what peoples definition of hypo is though (regarding how many spots is considered a hypo). It's a great looking leo though, very vibrant colors even though the picutures where somewhat blurry. I wouldnt be too concerned that it was inbred unless it had some sort of deformity. There are tons of inbred geckos out there, it somewhat part of the business. Well you have a great gecko there and she looks healthy.

How'd you manage to get her for free from petco???!! She's definitely a carrottail...that much I can tell you. She may or may not be considered tangerine...its hard to tell from your photos...is she orange, or more yellow?...if she's mostly orange, then she's a tang. She's not quite a hypo...most consider hypo to be 10 spots or less and super hypo no spots...but she's definitely a reduced pattern. I'd call her a reduced pattern tangerine/high yellow carrottail. Assuming she's as healthy as she looks...you made out bigtime!!

She is more orange than yellow and how much would she have cost if sold by a breeder?
