dark spot on BP

jaydaddy_26 Mar 19, 2004 02:28 PM

I just had a question about a dark spot on my 33" BP max. He is just over a year and eating every 5 to 7 days.he has had this dark spot ever since I got himon Jan. 7th.it has not grown or changed color. After what is about to be a fifth shed it still looks exactly the same.I was wondering if anyone has seen anything like it before. He is a captive bred normal, and is perfectly healthy. Is this a scar, birhtmark, cancer, what could it be? any input is appreciated.

Can you use your paint program to circle the spot on that pic?

it is the dark spot that breaks into the pattern.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have had a number of snakes over the years that have had similiar markings.
Your snake looks in very good health.
Best Regards.
