Hi,
I have had a pair of Drymobius for more than a year, and they were sold as Drymobius margaritiferus, but I have doubts.
It can look like Drymobius chloroticus.
What do you thin about?
many thanks.

Juveniles of margaritiferus are mostly green and brown. They become more colorful as adults. My young Drymobius look the same.
Thank you for your answer.
How long are your Drymobius?
Mine are 80cm (32 inches) long.

I have five ranging in size from 24" to 48"
Yes they are Drymobius margaritiferus, no they won't change colors. there are several different color morphs of this species. There is the "Blue" which is the one you are thinking of that has blue on the head and neck with yelow and black on the body and blue again at the tail. Then there is the "Green" which you have. And there is the "Yellow" which is similar to the green but in yellow. I have bred all colors of these snakes for years and I can guarantee you that they stay the colors that they are born with. The blue is the dominate color phase. If you were to breed your green with a blue all the hatchlings would likely be blue as well.
