Congratulations,
I hope some day to have some clutches with that kind of hatch rate
What type of incubator did you use?

I used a water driven styrofoam fish box incubator, heated with an aquarium heater. The eggs were on eggcrate in a rubbermaid bin on bricks in the styro box. I also have about an inch of water in the egg bin. A little old fashioned, but works well for me.

Congrats Don. Beautiful looking babies. Wish me luck.....I just got 19 eggs from a LTC Jaya type female last night.

Brandon,
Do you let your females brood the eggs or do you use an incubator?
Thanks
David

Sorry David. I didn't see the post until now. I've let my female incubate before with great results. This year I'm trying artificial for the entire clutch. So far so good. I think for the first timers, maternal is the easiest to do......if the female is a good Mom. Just be sure to have an incubator up and running just in case.
