old eats tail first....is this normal??

does anyone else have an okeetee or othr corn that only eats their pinkies tail first , is this normal? also the pinky was totally(the entire thing head and body)in his mouth and sqeeling, kinda erie!

Yes, mine does this on a regular basis. As they get bigger, they will learn it is easier to eat the mice head first. When you feed them pinkies, the lack of hair makes them easy to eat from either end. With bigger prey, it is harder.

That is sad!! why dont you feed F/T? My corns, milk and carpet python all eat F/T. They also will eat rear first. As long as they eat I don't care. :0)

well my little ones eat theres butt first some times other times its head first. you might want to switch over the f/t even though pinkies are harmless as well as fuzzies weanlings and i think hoppers can bite. this is just my person preference. but it will save you a lot of trouble in the long run if you switch them over to f/t.
