problem with reds tail

heyslick62 Mar 19, 2004 08:52 PM

ive been letting my red have time to him self ever since he had his cast off abouta week and a half ago. i took him out today and looked at his tail and it isnt completely smooth, at the base of his tail to about 3 inches down hes got a slight buldge every inch about an long, it looks constricted. could this be from his tail not shedding right? i havent seen him shed yet, so thats why i might think that could be the problem. thanks, justin

yes it probably is. make sure he gets lots of fruit and help him with his shedding if he needs it
