wanting to know if new cage can hole two water dragons...

zeb Feb 09, 2003 10:45 PM

While at work today I was talking to a nice guy whose WD is rubbing it's face on the glass. I suggested he put visual barriers in, and he did, but it still does it. I told him it needed a new, bigger cage...and he doesn't want to do that. He offered me his for free! And I may take it...

I have a female, and we think his is a male. Both similar size, but the new one will be smaller. Their new home is 5.5 feet long, 5.5 high, and 3 deep. It's still airing out from the paint, but should be ready soon.

Is this enough room to house two dragons? ( I thought to some extent they enjoyed/tolerated company...is that true? )

Just wanted your input.

Their is little chances that he was rubbing his nose on the glass because of size... those dimensions are pretty good for one WD. Visual barrier is a ok way to do it but it is rarely enought. Stick something inside the setup, around 6 inches high and all around the cage. He wont rub after that.

Remember that they can rub on scree, too.

hope this helps.

He isn't in the new cage yet, did you even read his message? That cage will hold two dragons with no problem.
