odd, yet intriguing question

Okay, so here's the deal:

Is there any way to tell without having genetic records what type of morph a particular snake is? I purchased a corn from a local pet store, and it's either an exceptionaly pretty ghost or I hit the jackpot and it's a lavender. The pattern is kinda a mauvy color, with very faint black rimming on some areas and a creamy white background. Now I know on some color morphs, like butters and ambers, the difference can be a subtle as eye color. That's why I'm asking this question: I've seen both patterns on three websites: Cathy Love's site, cornsnakemorphs.com and on cornsnake.net and STILL am not positive what I have.(not that it really matters, I'm just curious) The eyes of this snake are a brick red, and all the ghost pics I saw had black eyes. None of the lavenders had red eyes either, and I'm just wondering if anyone can help define what the little beauty I brought home for $30 is??

Thanks a million for ANY help on this!!

Most likely a regular ghost. It could be a charcoal ghost too.

Here's an old photo of my ghost. By the way, some ghosts have red eyes. If you look closely you can see them in the pic:
