seems the male is as ready as he'll ever be,he wont let up on either females,he hasnt head bobbed or vent dragged the bigger of the 2 for a week now,and she just shed yestrday showing what looks to be very faint orange(gravid?) anyway last time i saw the creamy orange bands after a few days she was bright orange so time will tell. The males jaw is getting no worse or better,he too shed a couple of days ago along with the smaller bicinctores, who i might add is also getting creamy banding.
Decided to call the male chakra but still havent decided on the other 2,i know eve,i'm gonna get it together and sort names

Sunlight, as Will's outdoor snaps show LOL. I try to photo mine in a spot which is under both the "full spectrum halogen" flood light AND the UVB bulbs, as either alone is just 'wrong'. I use 8.0 UVB's and they cast a HORRIBLE electric blue shadow and/or highlight sometimes, while most incandescents are way too yellow-y (listening EVE? LOL). [Look at the blue/purple shadow visible on the female's jaw and tail in this shot below, taken with new 8.0 bulbs. Johne's special parsley plant, directly under the basking light, is not affected]. I'd say that on my computer monitor, the first set of photos you took look more 'natural' in color.

that was the first time ive ever taken pics with only one type of light on,i just thought it looked crisper for lack of a better word.As for pics in the sunlight well, thats pretty much impossible, the hottest it ever gets here is about 18 degrees celsius.Im atleast hoping to biuld something similar to the pic below and i can just add a few basking lights at one end, although i havent quite figured out how to heat at night without attracting to much attention to it.Oh and eve ive been researching more on incubators and i definately think that last years efforts were doomed because of way too high humidity. So hopefully this year i will be seeing little chakra'sOh and i just feel like mentioning this but if collareds only appeal to anyone because of the colour then i would like to say that these guys make up for the lack of bright colours with a mega bright and sometimes zany attitudeLOL,boy can they flyNow for the off-topic stuff, took josh to smackdown revenge and he met his 2 fave wrestlers-john cena and eddie guerrero

The ony thing I see missing in that "Reptile Rock" is some nice Parcely sprigs shooting out here and there, as in Don's nice rocks LOL. The lizards look great guys, and I hope you guys have a lot of luck with breeding this year.

I've found that putting a nice large hole in the top of the lid (about the size of a quarter) I don't have to worry too much about excessive humidity. I have tried pin holes, and holes around the outside perimeter, but nothing beats the since large hole in the center of the lid.

with 1 solid wall on which i can biuld a big rock face on(complete with parsley). As for the incubator,i'll give hte big hole a shot but last year i was incubating using an aquarium and an aquarium heater with a couple of bricks and a rubbermaid so humidity was really high in there which at first i thought was a good thing but turns out not soAnyway im on the mark 2 incubator now,so heres hopingGood luck with all your lizards

like Chakra, cool name for a very COOL lizard !

I'm glad everything is finally looking up for you and your collareds, and hope they breed and you get some FINE looking hatchlings . (about time hunh)

They look mighty nice. I find bicinctores to be quite handsome in appearance, so much, I have a pair on order so to speak !

Nice to see ya back, don't be a stranger!
