This is awesome! it must be so cool to live in an area where you could step into your backyard and pick one of thse up. I guess that small children and dogs would have to stay more alert in an area like that.

I hate the way they are holding the poor thing.
Their pelvis serves a saltatory function, it's not there for human convenience. It's another case of the magazine being a poor example of herp husbandry.

What issue is that? And is there anything relevant to the frogs in it?

I got it sometime last year. There really isn't much of an article in there with regards to husbandry of these, or any, frogs. It's more about finding them in the wild (and picking them up the wrong way.) hehe.
