Turtle Tank

I changed a couple of things in my tank to later accomadate the new turtle. I bought another basking area and put it on the opposite of the tank. On side has the heat lamp and the other has the UVB lamp that produces heat. I am not sure though how much heat it produces, so could someone please tell me how you check the temp and with what. I putting a link so you can see. The tuperware container that is above the tank is the new baby. Thanks and God Bless.
