Lost Snake, Found Snake Story with PICTURE

sushiking Mar 20, 2004 03:10 PM

I lost this snake 4 months ago, right after I bought it. I was very disappointed and read every post about lost snakes on this website. For 2 months I checked the walls at night, I left little heat sources in corners, and pinkie mice throughout the house looking for signs of life.
Well, I gave up hope of finding him 2 months ago. Found him in a little cave next to the pond outside. He is an aberrant sinaloan possible het for albino.

congratulations! it's a very pretty snake. but it doesn't look like a sinaloan--they have much wider red rings between the triads. check some pix of sinaloans & nelsoni, see what you think. it's pretty though, regardless.

The snake was sold to me as a nelsoni milk snake not a sinaloan.
I really don't think that the difference is very valid anymore. There are people selling nelsoni as sinaloan and sinaloan as nelsoni. Unless someone is importing them I really doubt anyone can really say what is what. I would like to hear some more on the subject.

This snake was sold to me as a sinaloan.
