I'm almost ready to buy my gecko, i've visit several pet shop in my area and i was wondering how much should i expect to pay for a juvenile, yellow and white with small black dots and stripe gecko ? I know its a vague question but just to give me some idea...

or a morph?

answering your question it is impossible to tell how much a leo will cost. In some areas they are $30 and in mine they are $50. so for a normal juvenile expect to pay anywhere between $30-$50.

In a pet store, a normal leo can run anywhere from $30 to $80 (seriously - that's what I saw an extremely sick NORMAL leo for at PetCo).

The advice that runs rampant on this board is to try to stay away from pet stores and go directly to the breeders.

Although there are some exceptions. The pet store I go to all the time, for example!

ok...the pet stores where i saw the yellow and white gecko, The guy said "hypo" , sell his geckos at 60 $ but i saw in another stores a gecko , an adult one, sold 149 $ ! gee.... and it was not a special gecko ! It,s my first gecko so i'll probably go with the hypo at 60 $ and the guy breed his own gecko, the stores is clean and the reptiles seem to be well fed and active. The geckos where all in hiding , it was in the afternoon... I'm not a beginner in reptiles and i ask him some tricky question and he got them all Anybody know some breeder in Canada that dont sell geckos a couple of hundred ? I do some search and all i found was very high priced geckos...i'm not that rich...
