he is very cute ....he kind of reminds me of my dog boris.. he lost one of his front legs a few years back (when he was a pup)... anyway he looks very healthy... how does he get around???

It is funny, sad and interesting all at once to watch him move. He sits straight up (like a mini T-rex) to bask...and he scoots on his chest, using his back legs to fly around the cage. I just have paper towels as substrate, to help him scoot and to keep him cleaner. He catches crix and supers on his own and has a good appetite.

How did he lose his legs?

I sold him to some "knowledgable" herp people, who put him in with an adult male leopard gecko...after his legs dried up and turned black they shipped him back to me. I was seriously considering putting him down....but with some antibiotics, and hand-feeding, he pulled through and is turning out gorgeous!
