Okay, so I have these two virgin females I bought as hatchlings in 1999 from Larry Kenton. I contacted him to find out the parents bloodline, which he said may be from either Trooper Walsh or Eugene Bissett back when locales weren't as big an issue. I would like to breed them next year but will be in need of a male. Am I likely to find someone willing to provide a stud? or a male to loan with the idea of splitting both clutches down the middle 50/50? Or is that too risky or too much to expect since GTPs are on the higher end? Also, what is their reproductivity like?, meaning how long can they still produce eggs with no or minimal complications. Since they are 5 pushing 6 years of age, I would not want to do anything to harm them BUT I did buy them initially with the idea in mind of breeding them. Time just got away from me and I'm now trying to catch up..lol Any comments/thoughts are welcome..
