First outing - Wonderful!

SouthernBel Mar 21, 2004 08:36 AM

Well, it was warm enough that Rob and I took our igs outside yesterday for the first time since they have been here with us. It was so beautiful and warm and Kermit and Tahra LOVED it! Their previous home had a huge outdoor enclosure for them to stay in through the warm months and for sunning on warm days, so I am sure they have been missing the grass all winter . . . they tasted everthing they came across
We are going to make them a nice outdoor place, too. It was nice to spend the quality time with them, but I'm sure they would have loved to stay out even longer. We kept them on "leashes" and just let them wander around our four acres. It was so great!

We had to restrict her to the first branch since we couldn't get to her if she went any higher!

I bet those were the happiest iggys in the whole world right then. They are some pretty iggys. Real healthy and happy looking. I wish I had some property. I'd build a huge walk-in enclosure that they could run forever in. That's one day in the future though. Enjoy your time with your iggys outside.

Aaaaah, I can't wait until we move into our house so we can let our iggies roam in our yard!! Those really are pretty igs. Thanks for sharing the pics!

We're moving in five weeks... Counting down the days, the hours, the minutes and the seconds... LOL
