Question about temp.

Mizar 21 Mar 21, 2004 09:44 AM

Hi, its been a while since i've visit this forum . Ganymede is fine but i have a question about temperature. I live in Quebec, and as you know, winter can be cold. This morning i check the hot spot of my collared and it was at 91... is it too cold for a hot spot ? I'm reluctant to use a higher wattage because some sunny days, the temp in the room where he is, climb a few degree, so if i get a higher wattage and the temp in the room climb, his hot place might get too hot. Normally his hot spot is about 95. But it do change a bit depending on the room temp. Any suggestion ?

I have hot spots of 105, with enough flat space to move around. A large flat rock will absorb some heat, and transfer around a flat surface. I wouldn't worry about increasing the temp a bit.
