The area near my place has a good healthy population of Coronatum. Within 2 miles of this population in very similar terrain there was a fire last year. It was scrub oak, manzanita and the like. Several thousand acres burned. Does anyone know of any studies regarding the repopulation of HL's after a fire in this type of scenario? Ant populations? Does this type of habitat tend to be more favorable to their survival after it begins to regrow?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers!
