Yesterday I rejoined my 2 females in a new 20 long. They've had humid hides before, just rarely used them. Now, however, they wont leave them. Last night, before I went to sleep, they were both snuggled together in the humid hide, when I woke up, there they were. They remained in it all day today until about an hour ago.

Mind you one is shedding, but I found it slightly odd to be so secure and happy in a humid hide.

I guess this is kind of a story, but if you feel the need to interject and explain these behaviors, go right ahead.

They felt more scere in hide box because they are in new Home or about to shed. Some of mine females stay in humid box all time only comes out is to eat.

my geko is the same way he loves his humid hide for some reason ever sence i have change froma 20- a 55 gallon tank he loves his hide is something wrong.....

is it because the hide might be the only thing from his old tank ???

along with what was said above, they mite like it in there cause the tank mite b too hot.

yea but he is on the hot side not the cold side....... he goes on the cold side some times but that is about it.... i think the reason y he doesnt like the cold side is cause that is the side he loses his skin at and that is it otherwise he doesnt use it i got like 4-6 hides in there cause i keep moveing stuff around cuase tank is a newer tank and i am not sher wat 2 do wit it yet it looks great though right now

I always move stuff around and buy new stuff in my cage. My 4 year old choses places to sleep, she'll sleep in one hide none stop for about a month then chose another favorite place. Dunno why, but she likes to change it up.
Just recently she moved from her hot humid hide to the upstairs hide.
