breeding problem please help

matt16 Mar 21, 2004 04:18 PM

hey i pt my big male in with my female about 5 months ago the female weighs 58g and the male weighs about 75g. when i first put them in the male shook the tip of his tail really fast and kinda nipped at her but the female just kinda ran away. after that nothing ever happened and they are still in the same cage and there are no eggs. i was wondering if there was anyting i could do to get them breed other than putting them through a winter because i did that. the cage is about 75 on one side and in the high 80s on the other.

you can try seperating them for about a month, my guess is they're to used to eachother..take the male out for about a month and reintroduce them, also..some not all females are as horny as the males and may not breed at first or ever, so be patient
