Bleeding toe

Looks like my blue spot timor lost a nail and now is bleeding.....we are having trouble getting it to stop bleeding......any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

you could try vaseline or dipping it in some kind of powder this normally work if not you could nip it to the vets and they will quarterize (spelling?) it, It costs around $10 chances are though the powder or vaseline will work or it'll stop by itself.

I've read that corn starch is good if you're going to try the powder thing. Never used it myself though.

the best powder is styptic powder (im pretty sure i mispelled it) that is made for the sole reason of stopping the bleeding. they also make stiptic swabs, its what i and most other pple use when triming bird's nails as they sometimes bleed profusely and u need something to stop the bleeding, it works very quickly, sorry its a late reply, but it might help the next guy
