My new erebennus

I picked up my new pair of Texas indigos at the airport on Monday. It's great to be able to start out with a perfect, healthy pair of CB hatchlings after the heartbreaking experience I had with the sick texas indigo last year. I offered them food for the first time today and they both ate right away. It's going to be great to watch these these two develop into awesome adults. Thanks again Dean!

I was able to get a beautiful female from Dean this year too. She's doing great! Excellent quality snakes. I've had mine since June 4 and she's eaten twice so far in typical Indigo fashion(like there wasn't going to be a next meal!). Dean said that she probably wouldn't eat in front of me right away, but I don't think she read that part of the instruction manual. She gets fed again today....she was out cruising her cage several times yeasterday.

One of the most rewarding things about working with indigos is the kind of people that buy them.

Indigo people seem to treasure their animals and really fuss over them. It makes it so much nicer to let them go.

It really makes it worthwhile to be able to see how well the animals are doing. I spend a good portion of my life trying to make sure that my animals are healthy and able, and are under the right conditions to reproduce. I don't think I'd be able to muster up the motivation if it weren't for the good feedback that I get on "decendents" of my animals, and the knowledge that they are going to good people.

Thanks a lot for sharing!
