Gravid and Ovulating Boas...

wetceal Mar 21, 2004 06:31 PM

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to share some photos I took today of some of our female Boas. This is our first year breeding Boas and so far it looks to be a promising one! I can't wait till these girls give birth...hopefully they will give us LOTS of beautiful healthy babies! We shall see in the next few months!

These photos are of my Ivory Anery female. She was bred to my male Hypo het Anery so it looks like she may be giving me some Ghost Boas...keeping my fingers crossed!!

Here are some photos of two of our normal boas. Both of these girls were bred our other Hypo male so they should hopefully give us some nice Hypo babies. The first girl here is about six feet long...

We're pretty sure this girl is ovulating right now LOL...She's HUGE at 9+ feet (she's close to 10 feet long stretched out)...

And last but not least...our Hogg Island pair. The male has some nice coloration. We're pretty sure the female is gravid...she's been looking and acting it for the past few weeks. It would be really cool to have some Hogg Island Boa babies this year as well!!

Thanks for looking!

I always love seeing that...hopefully it will be next year for me. I wanna come see all the babies once they start laying....I love the babies! I might even have to buy a few too...
