Mountain spiny lizards??

lizardlover6655 Mar 21, 2004 09:18 PM

I bought a pair of lizards and wanted more info on their care. The store called them mountain spiny lizards. But when I have looked that up I can't find anything by that name. Does anyone know if this lizard has other common names?? Maybe what kind it actually is?? And if so does anyone their care?? The store told me high humidity and about 80 degrees for temp. and we got pinhead crickets for them. Thanks.

Can be a lot of species. Maybe Sceloporus jarrovi...but only maybe. Can also be sth from the central american squamosus group .
You should post a pic or/and search google pics for Sceloporus species.

I think I will try looking it up because I don't really have a way to get a pic on here of them. Thanks.

I did not hear anyone list the most important suggestion. Do not ever ever buy, catch or otherwise take care for an animal you know nothing about. I am sorry I wish for the lizards sake I could be of more help but I symply have never heard of that lizard.

Goto http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&q=Mountain Spiny Lizard

Google found me 10,300 pages concerning Mountain Spiny Lizards. I am wandering now wich search engine you used and found nothing? 10,300 pages are pretty good results.
