Question about Pacman frog

Meli Mar 21, 2004 10:45 PM

I just got a new Albino Pacman. I just have a question about the water I give him. Does it need to be something like spring or distilled water? Will tap water harm him? I searched on several websites about Pacmans and none discussed this issue! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey for my horned frog I use treated tap water. If you scroll down the forum a bit you'll see a message similar to this one. I use two dechlorinators that work very well for my frog: NovAqua and Amquel by Kordon. They are good because they remove chlorine, chloramines, and ammonia.. Some people leave their water out for 24 hrs or use bottled water etc., but I just use dechlorinators since it's much easier and more efficient.

Ditto to the above with the addition of this: Never use distilled water for your animals. It will cause a cellular imbalance & death.
