I as well use the duck brand shelf liner, or the like product the dollar store by me sells. Same stuff different company 2 dollars less. This has been easy to keep clean, and cheap. I personally like it better then the repti carpet stuff because it can be cleaned daily, and lays nice and flat on the bottom of the cage so crickets and other live feeder insects have trouble getting under and hiding out. I also use paper towels from time to time during cleaning, and in hospital or quarantine cages. Either paper or the shelf liners. I stay away from any substrate that can be swallowed.
