Bull or Gopher? HUGE pic Dial-up beware.

kick_baal Mar 22, 2004 12:34 AM

Check the link to view her and please let me know. I've had her almost 3 years and I imagine she's eaten less than a dozen times for me. My vet says there's nothing wrong with her - no parasites, ect. That fact that she's not a voracious eater makes me believe she's not a Bull Snake. Unfortunately when I look at Bull and Gopher pics, they all end up looking the same to me when they're young. Please advise.

Either a great Basin or San Diego gopher for sure. Definetly NOT a bull. Nice snake

It is a Great Basin Gopher.

Attached is a pic of my boy. He stopped eating for 7 months the last part of 2003 and the first part of 2004.

I took him to the vet and had him checked out.
He was fine. He got a bit thin and now is eating like a pig.
Go figure.
