how often do adult corn snake shed?

I am trying to determine if my female corn is gravid, she shed around 5 weeks ago and mated shortly after, she is now again ready to shed, could this be the pre lay shed or just a normal shed? how often do adult corn snake shed?

I always thought once they were finished growing it is something like 1-3 times per year.
