If they are supposed to be desert creatures how do they get enough leafy greens in a desert? Please no flames I dont know anything about this Im just curious..Maybe I have the wrong image of the type of desert area they come from. Im thinking I read Australian desert so I would think alot of heat and sand. Anyone have any ideas?

Well its more of a woodland/grassland type of desert, there are many plants there, along with insect life.
