Not Again!!!!!!!

fadetolemons Mar 22, 2004 02:19 PM

I got home today and went to feed my leos and one of them was gone. gone. I don't know how the hell he got out, the top was on the tank, and there's no way he could have climbed out. It really freaked me out, but he got out a week or so ago and i found him. So i turned the lights out and put a heat pad on the floor w/ his favorite hide and i'm about to leave for the dentists but i hope to find him when i get home... i don't know what could have happened, this is so strange!!!

what kind of substrate are you using?
do you have any cage deco with holes in them?

he might be just hiding really really well.

I'm using tile now, so there's no way he could be in that, and there are a few things w/ holes in them but i checked. There are some small holes in the top of the cage that he MAYBE could have been able to figure a way out of, and i think i forgot to put the top back on for a while last night, but i was pretty sure he was still in there this morning... freaky.

Just don't make anything thats high enough for them to reach the top of the cage. Or at least high stuff should be in the middle away from the sides...

He was where he was last time; inbetween my box springs under my matress. (My box spring is cut in half so we could fit in upstairs.) Crazy little guys.
